The following social activities would form part of the Techno-Expo 2009:

DG/CEO’s  Early Birds Reception: This is a forum where early comers to the Techno-Expo would be welcomed by the Director-General in a relaxed atmosphere thus enabling the guests shake-off fatigue from travel and jetlag.

Cultural Evening: The cultural evening is an evening of leisure and pleasure to show-case the rich culture of Nigeria.  Cultural troops will display Nigerian traditional dances and music.  Visitors will get a one-in-a life time opportunity of tasting local snacks.  It is also an opportunity to see a variety of traditional attires as individuals are encouraged to come dressed in their traditional wears.  Starting from 4.00p.m., hand-made clothes, shoes and other arts and crafts will be on display – an opportunity for visitors to go back with souvenirs from Nigeria.

Exhibitors Forum: The Exhibitors Forum will bring exhibitors together in an informal atmosphere where they can share their achievements and challenges.  Light refreshment will be served.
